Interdisciplinary graduates of the Postgraduate Diploma in Health Science may apply to progress on to the EIT Master of Health Science programme, and registered nurse graduates may apply to progress on to the EIT Master of Nursing programme.
The Postgraduate Diploma in Health Science is approved by the Nursing Council of New Zealand as an “advanced nursing practice programme”.

The Postgraduate Diploma in Health Science is characterised by advanced study in a specific nursing or health science discipline, requiring a foundation of undergraduate knowledge and skills achieved through previous tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
You can enrol directly into this diploma or use it to further develop the knowledge and skills you gained while studying for the Postgraduate Certificate in Health Science. Upon graduation from this diploma you can choose to progress onto one of EIT’s masters programmes.

- A recognised bachelor degree in the same or similar discipline, with merit achievement
